Bitcoin mining is the process by which new Bitcoin is introduced into circulation and all transactions on the network are confirmed and secured. It is fundamental to Bitcoin’s existence \u2014 without miners, there would be no Bitcoin network.<\/p>\n
Bitcoin uses a consensus mechanism called Proof of Work (PoW)<\/strong>.
